foreign, myself here good evening at the beginning I apologize for being, late here today after holding talks with the EU High representative, um of the European and the vice president of the European commission we, handle different topics and also we held bilateral talks and also expand the, talks so I apologize if we just to come late here today I would like to welcome, with the EU High representative and the vice president of the European, commission for his visit to Cairo, Mr Joseph is a dear friend and he gave us the opportunity to, communicate in different occasions um in the way to support, the relations and such vital and key relations for Egypt and such a, historical relations between Egypt and its European Partners in the framework, of the European um commission and also with all members and also the relations between peoples, is just very historic and such a close and such a close approaches and the, clear influence such wonderful relations we are facing, different challenges and the also the recent developments during the past times, so it requires to have intensive efforts in order to on the basis of mutual, respect to achieve the joint interests for both sides for the European, profession and European Union we are also providing different support and, they are also providing different developmental uh supporting, um um points and we have mutual understanding for different issues like, migration and we have such extended relationship for more than 20 years, um and it’s based on the partnership genuine partnership between both sides and also we, we make sure that we have such a cooperation that can help and that can, achieve the interests and we can also evaluate and also to assess the whole, situation and to achieve the Targets in a more efficient way more, efficient ways to and we also in our talks we also talked, about the bilateral relations between the European commission and Egypt and, different ways for cooperation and how to create different opportunities and, how to also extend our cooperation in different fields especially in the, field of energy renewable energy and how to build stronger bond between, Egypt and Europe as well and also we talked about the global, climate to change and the challenges that we are facing and Egypt and the verse for more, sustainable development and also we handled in our talks The Joint interests, and and especially in the Middle East issues the, the efforts in order to find a lasting solution for the Palestinian cause, and to make the Jerusalem at East Jerusalem as its capital and to and also, we talked about the two-state solution and to end the conflict in the Middle, East we also talked about the developments in Sudan in Libya and in, the Eastern side of Mediterranean and the human rights file as well and, this comes in consultation with each other, um to have also such a fruitful discussions in order to find efficient ways and to, increase the capacities our capacities and also explain the Egyptian view on, the political economic and social levels as well and in order to achieve the, targets and the Egyptian government obligation in this regard and it’s a, desire to also to cope with the needs of, the Egyptian people and I think um the situation also, uh the in in Ukraine the Ukrainian issue also was handled and especially between, such a relation between uh Cave and Moscow and we have the Prime Minister, made a visit for both capitals so in every situation in all situations, we deal in in light of such a strong the cooperation between both sides and we, look forward to increase of the Investments European Investments and to increase also the, revenues and we are confident that we can achieve such a high level of, sustainable development that can be reflected positively on both sides and, also we talked about illegal migration and how to achieve the stability, and I think that Egypt can play a critical role in this regard and also to, be a model and also to achieve the stability so I would like to welcome our, guests today the EU higher representative and we look forward for more opportunities and and I’d like to, thank him again for his personal efforts that he is exerting, um because he is so much convinced about such a genuine cooperation between both, sides and I would like to welcome you sir once again again thank you very much you have the floor sir, foreign, foreign, foreign, foreign, [Music], foreign, foreign foreign, [Music], foreign, be alive foreign, years, [Music], foreign, foreign, [Music], foreign, newspaper, um, in the past few years we had momentum when it comes to the relation between, Europe and Egypt if there are more details regarding such a momentum in the, relations between European union and Egypt, did you understand doing the question um, well no as I said I think that is, we also signed an agreement for the prophet priority agreement, in 2021 in 2021 to 2027 and in such, agreement it will include different aspects of cooperation with European commission and with your opinion and we, are planning to put mechanisms and very practical criteria in order to apply all, the points and and we look forward for more developmental efforts uh and more, projects that can help to achieve stability with the cooperation with the, European Union I think that this is a very important especially when it comes to the economic level the European Union, the first partner for Egypt and and we, can take the best experience from the European side to develop such a projects, we also we are looking forward to increase the volume of such a projects, the economic level is very important and I I think that um, such a framework is very comprehensive that can achieve the mutual interests, for both sides and we are always having such Ambitions to have more and more, cooperation while facing the current challenges, and we hope that all the sources all the resources are, available and also we are confident that we can have such a stronger cooperation, between all sides um and to increase also the resources in, order to face the challenges that we are facing nowadays newspaper, good evening my question to Mr Joseph during the past, few months the Palestinian territories witnessed escalations against the, Palestinians especially that we have some, um some Israeli politicians um could you tell us what is the strategy, of the European Union to decrease the escalation between both sides and how to, push for two-state solution in the upcoming few months, for the European Union, um, [Music], [Music], foreign foreign, [Music], Sky News foreign, Affairs when we talk about the importance of the, recent developments in Sudan and it’s an effect its effect and its repercussions, on the Egyptian state did you discuss with Mr Joseph, putting a mechanism to support the affected countries that are hosting the, Egyptian the Sudanese refugees and what are the visions of the Egyptian side to, get out of such a dilemma especially for uh such a important meeting between the, the two sides the Sudanese and the Egyptian sites and and regarding the, current situation in Sudan Mr model also he said after, [Music], He also mentioned that this is that there is European reservation regarding, the readmission of the Syria um and um so we would like to listen, from you Mr Minister regarding the situation in Sudan I think that um the, situation in Sudan we talked about that with my guests we have mutual, understanding about the repercussions and the effect of this um issue on the, Middle East uh stability and also on the, security of the Red Sea and also on how, to and also countering terrorism and how to, your peace and put a limit to chaos, are reflected on the Sudanese people as well and we have to realize also the, Egyptian the historic relations between Egypt and Sudan such integration between, both countries and especially when it comes to the historic and the geographic, um integral part so this is something that could have a direct impact on all, the neighboring countries and I think that we are increasing all efforts to, put an end to the violence and inviting all parties to sit together and to, discuss the disagreements between all of them and Order and I think that we also, invited the African Union and the European Union also can play a critical, part here and in order to build a channel to invite and to bring all um, parties together we would like also to find a way to put an end for violence, and also to overcome the obstacles and how to restore security and to help the, Sudanese State and to pave the way for brightful future and and also to achieve, the mutual interests between both sides agent is also understanding very well, the um situation in Sudan and and also, um on different levels was different and we handled in our talks um, how can we find Solutions and how how to, continue the political negotiations and how to deal with different issues from, realistic perspective that can achieve the interests of the Sudanese, interests and we um we are exerting efforts and and I, think that and we can also reach positive communication with the, neighboring countries and coordinating with all neighboring countries, confirming that that we should have unified Vision to overcome the current, situation from realistic perspective as I said in, order to deal with the key issues and especially preserving the Sudanese, people and um its capabilities and Egypt is is aware about that and we opened we, are opening the doors for the Sudanese refugees because we understand the, situation and we understand how critical is it we also are aware about the, economic impacts and we are here hosting in Egypt a very big number of refugees, for other neighboring countries because of the economic uh circumstances or, political circumstances and in this way and they are here living, in Egypt in a very is free uh way and and I think that Egypt can also exert a, lot of efforts uh the EU High representative also talked about uh the, assistance and the support we also um talked about, um Egypt’s hosting of such a very big number of refugees and we are looking, forward for more cooperation that can meet the ambitious visions and also, Egypt is also aware about shouldering the responsibility and, this is very critical and very sensitive issue especially when it comes to the European, elections so so there are different uh um interactions and discussions about, that in order to find what is the optimal way for cooperation so Egypt is hosting very, big number and we are doing that because we are committed of such International, pledging that we have and also based on the historic vision of caring, um the neighboring countries and taking care of such a refugees and we also look, forward for more cooperation because at the end it’s a joint interest, um Egypt is becoming a destination place and if we are facing obstacles then we, also find the support from different sites like European sites and I think, that we need to deal in a pragmatic and practical ways and as I said uh with and, as I talked with the the EU High representative they are, um providing support and we need to find also other resources that can can that, can contribute more and more in this issue as to the meeting, that was supposed to be held um in the Arab League and also the, European Union it’s a development that’s happening, that it could have more than 27 countries and more than 21 Arab, countries very deep relations between all sides that can help both sides in in, bilateral talks and bilateral negotiations we can make such, connections and social relations to be stronger especially on the economic levels and also the readmission of Syria, it was a decision unanimously taken by all the members in the Arab League and, it was prepared by Preparatory uh discussions with the Saudi Arabia with, Jordan with Iraq and also um we had also the the Syrian foreign, minister participating and we wanted to pave the way for more successful future, and and also to achieve what is the best to track here in order to normalize the, Syrian Arab relations and also we’ve focused on, the security resolution Security Council resolutions, and also some other decision that can be very effective for the Syrian people, we also are appreciated by European partners that there is an interest and, for such a historic relations the last meeting was held four years ago, and I think that this is a great opportunity and we hope uh to build, something more rightful our future that can help in this regard and especially, on the interstitutional levels between the two groups of putting in our consideration between, Egypt and the Arabs and Arab states they are so much caring for the Syrian people, as you know that Syrian people suffered a lot in the past few years and we, wanted to find a solution for such a suffering and how to find the best the, best mechanism here in this regard that can restore the stability once again and, how can we achieve that level of the security because Syrian people they, deserve the caring in order to overcome the crisis the last question, and this is Sarah shalakani from a distorted newspaper, Mr Minister you came in the morning today, from a visit to Russia could you tell us what are, the uh what is your evaluation for such a visit, after coming back from Moscow as you know that we have a plan we have, a vision it is also an African uh vision and this, is one unifying stand to achieve the peace and to overcome the crisis, between the Ukrainian side and the Russian side and so the main target here, is to listen to both sides the Ukrainian, side and the Russian side and also at the same time took Civil War, what are the ways that we can use to put, an end to the war and to overcome the challenges and to bring all the parties, for negotiation because in a military conflict should be ended should be, ending as of my peaceful ways and one of the ways here that we use is the United, Nations Charter we understand how complicated is a situation but we also, we we also understand how what are the repercussions on of this crisis on the, African side especially the inflation rates the food, that security and the energy security as well all of these repercussions of such, a conflict um affected the African States and I, think that this is the right time now to find a way to achieve the global, stability and to work together that can be achieved on Peaceful channels we had, meetings on the the levels of presidential levels, for both sides listening to different comments we also explained our vision, our African vision of how can we achieve a breakthrough in this crisis, how to find political Solutions this is the first attempt for efforts, here and we are expecting to have fruitful discussions and fruitful, outcomes and we hope also to have such a, um outcomes positive outcomes at the end as you know that Africa is representing, uh 25 of the world community and we are so much concerned about such, issues that can go beyond the geographical dimensions and to achieve, at the end peace and stability in the world thank you very much again thank you, [Music], foreign,
